The time to leave Penang is almost here,
it’s next week to be exact.
There’s so many things to be missed here.
Food, friends, company, hangouts.

And last Saturday and today was one of the best days I had,
I went hiking! And I damn loveeeeeeee hiking!

After so long of planning, finally the plan is carried out.
Off to Teluk Bahang we went, to Pantai Kerachut we hiked.

The hike was about an hour plus, the route was challenging yet fun.
It wasn’t as bad as this morning’s hike to Muka Head.
Plus I saw a monitor lizard as big as me.

And hiking with a pair of Crocs is seriously comfy!
It’s only been a month since I started wearing it, and I love it more than any other shoes.

Everyone breathed a sigh of relief when we crossed the bridge linking to the beach.
It was a sight to be seen, Kerachut is definitely a closeted beach.

When we finally reached, we were greeted by coarse clean sand, cooling sea breeze.
We ceased the moment with a group photo.
In a little hut at the end of the bridge, we took a moment to savour the breeze,
relaxing our minds before returning to the good ol’ city life.

And then it was picnic time, everyone was famished and needed refreshments.
Plus we witnessed another group fishing right in front of us.

All in all, it was fun to be an explorer.
I yearn for more activities as such, it’ll be nice to have more people in though.

Spot me emo-ing/taking a nap in the picture. Heh!
Do you know what’s a meromictic lake? It’s in Kerachut.
Google it up if you don’t know, if best, go hike up to Kerachut yourself.

Life beside the edge
meromictic lake… that’s really cool! In NZ therĂ©s a place called Milford sound, where the water also doesn’t mix, top layer is fresh water and bottom layer is sea water!
different colours too

That’s some very nice photos you got!
