Few days back, I attended Swarovski’s for member’s only Preview Party of their new Autumm/Winter Collection with my mum. It was not as lavish as I’d imagine it would be, but at least I got a new sleeping eye mask embedded with crystals. Now, I can sleep in luxury. Not too shabby.

The event was just a brief one hour show, Elaine Daly emceed and introduced us the new collection. Soon after, the moment everyone waited for arrived. Out comes the skinny, tall, clear eyed blonde models with the new pieces from the collection. They were pretty, but a little gangly to an extend.

I wasn’t paying much attention to them or the new collection as I find it too, theathrical for my liking. And I’ve always been a sucker for the colour RED and hearts. Highlight of the day was, I found the two elements I love in one piece.

Since the party was at Pavilion, it would be feasible for me to purchase it there but no, I had to go all the way to KLCC as there is no stock available. Bummer yes, off I go with my Mum. Pavilion was like a hunting ground, the hords of ladies scavenging for the merchandises there drove me crazy. With all the pushing, and yapping, both of us agreed, we had to leave.

And there we go, public transportation is the way for us to travel. And she had to torture herself by not wearing her Crocs but instead, a pair of slip ons that gave her blisters. For the sake of beauty, tsk tsk tsk.

I knew that I wouldn’t be able to buy it, even if I did it would burn a big hole in my wallet. Thankfully, Mum was understanding. I didn’t even asked her to buy it for me. It just happened, unconditionally. Now I have my advanced birthday gift.
