Here’s a sneak peek of our new room to be! I personally picked the colour and a lot of headaches went into deciding on the interior of the room, from layout dilemmas to colour palettes and furniture decisions.

I have this vision that the room will be a very art deco meets pop art with a warm cozy ambience. The down lights are to be in white but I’m glad there are two ceiling lights that are decorative, and most importantly yellow!

I hate hate hate white light because the glare gives me the crazies, especially when you have white walls in the house and paired with white light, this calls for a migraine to happen.

I am happy that throughout my past week stay in KL that I have successfully managed to acquire 70% of the items we needed for our room from my favourite store ever, IKEA!

We got everything for less than RM 850 which includes a bedside table, wall shelfs, wall lights, chair and table protectors, corner protectors, a wall magazine rack, photo frames and my favourite of all, a quirky wall clock that will make Tim Burton squeal with excitement!

I am excited that the room is coming into shape, can’t wait for the rest of the furniture’s to be in! I’ll be doing some bedframe picking tomorrow! Yay!
