Introducing Van She.
Hooray, 1 month down, 2 more to go for my internship! Time does fly I’d must say. I wouldn’t say I’m entirely enjoying my job but it’s something new within my grasps. Totally out of my style. And what’s with the picture above you may ask?
Well, my editor assigned me on a phone interview with some Australian band.

I was literally shaking my nerves out thinking of doing a phone interview, it went of pretty well although my sore throat was getting in the way at most times. I interviewed Michael Di Francesco who’s on synths, and I don’t which one’s him in the picture. Oh yea, before the interview, my editor bought a new recorder for me to use. I know it’s not mine but still, muahahahahahahahahaha.
So yea, I began my interview with a hi hello my name is Wendy and I’m from JUICE magazine, that sort of thing. Then I just started digging info about his band and he said if he were to bring back a look from the 80′s, he would bring back the Big Hair and SPANDEX?! And the interview was great because he was very responsive to my questions although the stupid call delay was annoying, plus he and his Australian accent was not that bad to comprehend. It was pretty cool. Plus, he was so god damn long winded with his answers, an average answer from him is about 90 seconds long!
And silly me, at the end of my interview I told him that this was my first time doing an interview and he was like, “Oh wait, wow your first time? You did a really really good job, it was great! I mean, it’s cool to be interviewed by you. Good job!” And there I was, blushing and giggling to myself like some looney. I have to say, Mike has been using way too many of the word cool in the interview, I’ve counted, an estimated 40 times above!
That was the main highlight for week 4, the other highlight was being the stylist for October’s issue. I loaned clothes, accessories, shoes, bags, hats, caps and whatever from 3 shops that I’ve chosen and the total amount borrowed costs FIVE GOD DAMN THOUSAND BUCKS. 12 items borrowed from Topshop & Topman already costs 2k plus, 34 items from Radioactive costs 2k plus, and 10 items from Echopark costs 1k plus. Imagine if I were to lose anything, die I tell you. So yea, in total I borrowed 56 items from 3 shops, I have to go through so many procedures and sent out so many e-mails to get approval for the items. Then going to each shop to select and collect, then bringing altogether 6 bags full back to the office to be passed to the photographer. Fulamak!
Well, that’s week 4. Can’t wait to see what week 5 has in stored.

Yes, last Saturday wasn’t enough.
