OH

MY

GOD

WHAT

THE

FARK

!!!!!!!

I got home very late yesterday, 3am! Because I was at UncleJosh’s party hanging with his bunch of monkey friends and as soon as I reached home, I got myself a quickie hot shower and fell flat on my bed. I woke up pretty early because some guy delivered the new motherboard for Hugo’s laptop and then he told me the technician will be arriving at my house at 2pm.

So yea, after 2 hours of sleep, comes Alex the technician and he just started disassembling the laptop into bits and pieces.  I thought, finallyyyyyyyy the laptop is gonna be back to normal but but but, as soon as he fixed in the new motherboard, the laptop couldn’t load! T_T He tried all sorts of ways to get it back alive but to no avail, he had to fix back the old motherboard and he left with the new one. In the end, fixing the laptop = not fixing it at all. I rescheduled for him to go to my office next Tuesday for service, hopefullyyyyyyy this time it works.

I am sibeh tulan with this Dell already.

I is very the tulan, for the past 3 days, the stupid laptop has been making my life miserable and it’s getting worse! For many times, I’ve just turned it on and let it load by itself, the damn celaka thing will just hang! And now I have to resort to my busted office PC for work, argh! I’ve been on a conference call with the people from Dell for umpteenth times and all they keep telling me is to keep monitoring keep monitoring keep monitoring the damn laptop. And finally after so many buggings, they’re finally coming to fix it for me tomorrow! Not a very good start for the weekend for me, no laptop means extra homework for the weekend!

Teehee! I’m happy I got a new bag from my boss! It’s Roxy’s new Eco Friendly Bag! They’re set to be in stores soon so for you eco friendly people, keep an eye for it at Quiksilver and Roxy outlets alright!

On a stupid sad note, my laptop or rather Hugo’s laptop is failing on me! Just today, it has died on me 4 times and still counting. Dell’s XPS laptops are damn faulty la, I’ve read so many complaints about it.

Mr.Handsome Dell XPS M1330, I know deep inside you, you’re a very good guy right, don’t fail on me okay! I very very very much need you in my life, so do not die on me! WTF la I’m begging a laptop.

But I’m happy, got a new bag! Wee!

I have a new perfume!

Yesterday’s Friday was the best Friday ever! I was only in the office for 3 hours, had lunch with a bunch of my colleagues who was interrogating my personal life and then left to Heritage Mansion on a Bollywood taxi.

My main highlight of the day was, Paco Rabanne’s new fragrance launch. It’s called 1 million and only selected people are invited to the event. It was lavish as it was truly bling bling with gold everywhere. I arrived early because I estimated it would be jammed from Midvalley so I decided to leave earlier just in case. I was greeted by friendly people at the event, serving me cocktails and ushering me to the photobooth for a candid Polaroid shot.

It was fun! Plus, I met alot of different people from the media world. Not bad for an intern’s life right. I’ll definitely wish for more events like this, ngek! After the announcement of the new fragrance, we chilled at the Gold Lounge where we were served with more cocktails, finger food and our goodie bags! We got a 100ml bottle of 1 million each, a Patchi chocolate which was so god-damn heavenly and a press release. Afterall, we’re the media.

L-R: Robert from Clive, John from Menshealth, Keith from Clive and me! From JUICE!

To sum it all up, it has been a great Friday for me. I was home by 5pm! The journey back home via LRT was pretty crowded but it didn’t affect me much, good mood always makes things better! So, a little wish I shall make here, I wish for more lavish events for me to attend!

ps: Wenster.net is reinventing herself!

Introducing Van She.

Hooray, 1 month down, 2 more to go for my internship! Time does fly I’d must say. I wouldn’t say I’m entirely enjoying my job but it’s something new within my grasps. Totally out of my style. And what’s with the picture above you may ask?

Well, my editor assigned me on a phone interview with some Australian band.

Which I never heard of by the way wtf. MySpace

I was literally shaking my nerves out thinking of doing a phone interview, it went of pretty well although my sore throat was getting in the way at most times. I interviewed Michael Di Francesco who’s on synths, and I don’t which one’s him in the picture. Oh yea, before the interview, my editor bought a new recorder for me to use. I know it’s not mine but still, muahahahahahahahahaha.

So yea, I began my interview with a hi hello my name is Wendy and I’m from JUICE magazine, that sort of thing. Then I just started digging info about his band and he said if he were to bring back a look from the 80′s, he would bring back the Big Hair and SPANDEX?! And the interview was great because he was very responsive to my questions although the stupid call delay was annoying, plus he and his Australian accent was not that bad to comprehend. It was pretty cool. Plus, he was so god damn long winded with his answers, an average answer from him is about 90 seconds long!

And silly me, at the end of my interview I told him that this was my first time doing an interview and he was like, “Oh wait, wow your first time? You did a really really good job, it was great! I mean, it’s cool to be interviewed by you. Good job!” And there I was, blushing and giggling to myself like some looney. I have to say, Mike has been using way too many of the word cool in the interview, I’ve counted, an estimated 40 times above!

That was the main highlight for week 4, the other highlight was being the stylist for October’s issue. I loaned clothes, accessories, shoes, bags, hats, caps and whatever from 3 shops that I’ve chosen and the total amount borrowed costs FIVE GOD DAMN THOUSAND BUCKS. 12 items borrowed from Topshop & Topman already costs 2k plus, 34 items from Radioactive costs 2k plus, and 10 items from Echopark costs 1k plus. Imagine if I were to lose anything, die I tell you. So yea, in total I borrowed 56 items from 3 shops, I have to go through so many procedures and sent out so many e-mails to get approval for the items. Then going to each shop to select and collect, then bringing altogether 6 bags full back to the office to be passed to the photographer. Fulamak!

Well, that’s week 4. Can’t wait to see what week 5 has in stored.
