Good morning people , at the time I’m writing this post it’s 9.30am and I just came back from a 2 hour morning hike around Gurney Drive and Pulau Tikus. I sweated so much and it felt so damn good I tell ya. I didn’t need an alarm clock to wake me up, I just sprang out of bed, got a change of clothes and pack on my phone, wallet, keys and I-Pod and I was off! V

Too bad I had to leave Lim Ah Meow at home, but I made up for it by taking her down to the garden below my apartment. And she is getting so fat OMG I can’t believe it. She loves playing with sticks and making weird meow noises when she sees birds. But she’s too heavy to be chasing them. And I kinda miss my dogs too, will definitely go on a hike with them once I’m back in Ipoh! Yay for hiking!

Going on a hike this morning was nice actually, the weather was cooling as the sun was camouflaged by the clouds and the breeze was pretty motivating too. And I managed to snap a picture of Gurney Drive, or what’s left of it anyway. Dry as a nun’s gusset. And I had so many cars honking at me as they pass me by while I was brisk walking. What the heck.

However, I feel extremely satisfied knowing that I’ve been waking early for hikes, last weekend was at a padi field in Balik Pulau which is extremely gorgeous by the way (the sight OMG!) and also at the Air Itam dam, which is a nice little forest path to go to for morning hikes. I would go there during weekdays but it’s so freakin’ far and I have classes.

And because I’ve been hiking so much on my Crocs, it’s dying on me! Plus, I assure you (with my feet as proof) that Crocs are not meant for hiking, at least for my Crocs la. I’d get blisters on my soles and I shall save my beloved Malindi for normal walking instead of hiking. My verdict is, for people with Crocs out there, no Crocs for extreme hiking or your shoes dies fast. So for that, I have new hiking shoes. And I’m loving hiking even more now!

I’m looking forward for morning hikes now. I’m not a lazy bum anymore!

Well, as I’ve promised a video of Lim Ah Meow! I named her Bella actually, not very nice kan calling her Lim Ah Meow all the time? But I still prefer calling her Lim Ah Meow, pretty unique and ah beng of a name for cat isn’t it?

She’s a little LOA (Lack of Attention) most of the time, she has to sleep on my lap whenever I’m on my laptopĀ  and yes she is on my lap right now and she is OMG crazy tam jiak (read: glutton!), everything anybody eats in the house has to go through her and she’s practically hyperactive all the time. She never takes a nap and what kinda cat that doesn’t take naps? Other than that, she’s a good cat la, she greets me at the door whenever I’m back home and easy maintenance.

I’ve read that, white cats with coloured irises are actually albinos, in a sorta mutated gene way. And I think she’s partially a Japanese Bobtail breed too, she does look like one with the big googly blue eyes and white fur with the short tail. And I included a video of her for everyone’s viewing pleasure, recorded using my e71 which I do think that I wanna change phone already! Nyahahahaha. V

My mum spoils her abit too much I think, she got her a scratching post, a bed and even more cat food! Lim Ah Meow has quite a big belly right now, compared to a month ago when I got her to now, she has definitely grown horizontally alright! ) But I’m happy to have a companion at home! It’s like I’m having my very own baby. Speaking of baby, I’m happy to say there’ll be an addition to the Wong family later this year!

Other than my family, my dogs and my Babi, I have a new loveeeeee in my life!

It was hard to say bye bye to my previous 4 year old husband but he has to go! I’m still wondering is it the right decision to opt for a smartphone but so far after days of using it, I’m loving it! Although I have yet to explore the GPS and office functions of it, I love it when I can access my blog, e-mail and chat whenever there’s free wifi around! V Oh yea, I love qwerty!

My 3 day trip in KL has been less bored with this phone around, I was so occupied with the features of this phone till I completed ignored my i-Pod and the Shuffle! Maybe like what the Chinese says, “San Si Hang” or New Toilet Bowl but regardless, this phone is pretty much what I’m looking for in replacing my old one. And yes, it has a stainless steel body which is oh so damn sexy but the fingerprints is OMG annoying! Just like the I-Pod, mafan gila to keep rubbing it off. And to end all this, the phone rocks my socks!
