It took me 4 years to buy myself a brush set, and before this I was just borrowing my mother’s make up brushes and they are totally worn out especially the blush brush!
I have been using Artistry’s brushes and as a first makeup brush set it wasn’t that bad nor wasn’t anything to rave about. I don’t really use all the type of brushes available, the only brush that I use on a daily basis is the blush brush.
The Artistry blush brush was so worn out till the extend that everytime I dab it on my face, the bristles would break and it would be stuck on my cheeks and I would sometimes go on the entire day without noticing that there is a strand of stray hair on my face.
Yea, I sometimes go all day without checking myself in the mirror.
So it was in late April last year that I bought my very first blush brush, I didn’t have many brand peeves so I went back to my go to, The Body Shop. I’ve never tried any MAC, Bobbi Brown or any other brands other than Artistry, The Body Shop and now Guerlain with my Meteorites being my first foray in Guerlain.
My Body Shop blush brush serves a multipurpose of being a blush brush/loose powder brush which I dab my Meteorites with.
And also my shimmer bricks, along with my Majolica Majorca Cheek Customize blush.
I have since used it for a year and it’s been serving me well and it was recently that when I purchased my Meteorites, I found that my Body Shop blush brush isn’t fluffy enough to apply the powder. Hence I began on a search and reviews on the best brushes out there and it lead me to Ecotools. It was economically friendly plus it was well reviewed by many!
