Ahoy mateys!

Yea I know I haven’t been updating and that’s because there is nothing interesting to write! I’m back in KL since last Friday and my health has been going a downward spiral since then. The weather here is absurd, and I’m too weak to be going anywhere! Good thingy is the chicken pox marks are fading! OMG chicken pox is evil and I’m cursing Hugo to get it next year in 2009! Serves you right, chicken!

And as for today, marks my return to my crap office. It’s as dusty as ever, try stomping your feet on the carpet floor and watch the dust particles fly up! Beats me why I’m always with a runny blocked nose in the office!

Anyhoo, anyone going to ZOUK this Friday for the JUICE DJ Final Quest? Come la let’s party party before I cabut from KL! V

With that said, me shall stop here as I’m really losing the mojo to blog. Yet again.

I am still alive and kicking! If that’s what you’re wondering. I might felt like dying a week back but it’s so much better right now. It wasn’t a fun experience, that I can tell you.

The red dots are slowly fading away and I look like I’m having major pimples on my face! It’s been a while since I had some big ass pimples and I hate hate hate it! Damn you chickenpox! And I’m finally off my anti viral medicine, which is goodie news!

I’m counting down the days to the end of my internship, it’s soon! V Me is done with JUICE. Bleh. It’s back to some holiday and bumming as usual, then I shall plan my further studies. At the moment, the plan’s looking a little bleak, will be checking out the coming educational fairs and keeping my eyes peeled!

7 days to go for my sick leave, and I’m enjoying very much of it. Feels good to be away from KL, like seriously. I don’t know what you guys might think about KL but for me, it’s such a stressful city to be living in. So much of hustles and bustles, the environment just keeps you in a constant pressure! T_T

As for now, I just want to go back Penang and do what I do best. Bumming!

Plurk is gone!

It’s been nice to be back home. Although I’m always sleeping at most times, due to the medications and someone has been calling me non-stop although I never answer, chill la dude I’m fine!

And I have officially removed Plurk from my sidebar, it’s so boring now and annoying when I see so many plurks that keeps popping out! It has to go! So bye bye plurk! V It’s been fun playing with you! I might check it out at times, just for fun!

It feels good that the chicken pox is now starting to subside, few days back it would hurt so bad and my body would ache like shit, till I can’t even sleep at all! Now it’s just scabbing, can’t wait to be back in shape! ) Spending time doing nothing at home other than chilling actually feels really good.

Good news is that, I don’t have to replace my 2 weeks absence of my work! So after I’m back to work, I’ll only need to be in the office for the last week and then it’s done! Finito! Can’t wait can’t wait!

It just disturbs me that, people would ask me about work and not bothered to ask me of my condition. Sigh.

It’s day 2 of my “so-called” illness, I’m just feeling weak with no will to do anything. I don’t have the appetite to eat, and my medicine keeps me lying dead on the bed. T_T Good thing for today is, I’m going home! It’s a little sad to be going home just because I’m sick, but it’s better than nothing. Argh riff raff.

I can’t even shower or move like normal, afraid that I’ll burst those little red dots on my body, good thing it’s not itchy yet. But still, my body’s pace is exactly like a tortoise. No energy, body aching like nobody’s business. Just wait for the days to come, there’ll be even more red dots popping out!

I know my writing skill is bad, I’m not as fluid or flowy like the writer’s in JUICE but still, it’s my style. I’m not very good in my vocabulary. Being straightforward and to the point is what I want, not twisting and bombastic-ing my words away. I’m just saying as it is, in my blunt straight manner.

On another side note I wonder, will I spread the virus to my pets? Afterall, I do have 3 dogs and a cat back home. I don’t want them to kena the sickness from me, hopefully it’ll be alright. Gosh, I’m gonna be home ridden for 2 whole weeks.

Of all days and time in my life, NOW’s the time that the virus chose to go crazy! I’ve been feeling unwell for the past few days, I thought it was probably the weather and yea, maybe the weather had something to do with triggering the virus in me.

Good news, I’m having chickenpox! ARGH!

Why why whyyyyy, I’m doing my internship in KL can! This probably means KL is so bad till my chickenpox had to come out and attack me! 2 weeks of not going to work, in a way that might be a blessing in disguise. Now I get to go back to my hometown, after 2 months of not returning.

And with all do respect, please read up about chickenpox to understand my current condition.

Chickenpox is an infection that causes an itchy, blistering rash and is very contagious, meaning it is spread easily from one person to another. It is caused by varicella-zoster virus (VZV), which enters the body through the mouth and nose after contact with an infected person.

A person with chickenpox can spread the disease to someone else from one day before the rash appears until all chickenpox blisters have crusted over. Once someone has had a chickenpox infection, he or she almost always develops a lifelong immunity, meaning that person usually does not get chickenpox a second time. The exception is a child who is infected at a very young age. Young children usually have milder cases and may not build up enough protection against the disease. Therefore, these children may develop the disease again later in life.

Because chickenpox is so contagious, 90 percent of a patient’s family also will develop the illness if they live in the same house and are not already immune. In the past, chickenpox cases often occurred in groups (epidemics), usually during the late winter and early spring. However, the number of cases of chickenpox has dropped dramatically because of the chickenpox (varicella) vaccine, which was licensed in 1995 and is recommended for all children.

Chickenpox is an uncomfortable infection that, in most cases, goes away by itself. However, chickenpox also has been associated with serious complications, including death. About one of every 100 children infected with chickenpox will develop a severe lung infection (pneumonia), an infection of the brain (encephalitis), or a problem with the liver. Dangerous skin infections also can occur. Before the introduction of the vaccine, about 100,000 people were hospitalized and 100 people in the United States died each year of chickenpox, most of them previously healthy children. Adolescents and adults who develop chickenpox are also at high risk of developing serious complications.

After a person has chickenpox, the virus typically lives silently in the nervous system of the body for the rest of a person’s life. It may reactivate (come to life again) at any time when the body’s immune defenses are weakened by stress or illness (such as cancer or HIV infection) or by medications that weaken the immune system. The most common reason for the virus to reactivate is getting older. Reactivation of the virus causes a condition called shingles, a painful blistering skin rash that typically occurs on the face, chest or back, in the same area where one or two of the body’s sensory nerves travel.

I’m going home tomorrow! Gonna be out cold for 2 weeks. Dang. Red dots are popping all over my body, OMG! And it’s not itchy yet, wait till it comes. Oh dear. I feel evil whenever I’m around people, because chicken pox is contagious. Heh!

Hugo Lim you better accompany me with the chicken pox! You evil person you! )
